“Nikiski Birch- A Closer Look” a *print of an original acrylic painting by Tracy Hansen

While spending time at a cabin in Nikiski, Alaska, Hansen was surrounded by birch trees; which inspired the series Nikiski Birch collections. With only two left available for sale and prints, these birch trees are set in front of a small lake and brilliant blue sky. The combination of brush and palette knife gives the painting variation in the texture background and rough tree bark.
